Privacy Policy

JDT Innovation Hub OPC ("we") runs DaganLoop. We respect your privacy and handle your personal data under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
What we collect
- Account: name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), and your Google profile name and photo if you sign in with Google.
- Runner details you give when registering or in My account: birthdate, gender, shirt size, mobile number, emergency contact, and a parent or guardian for runners under 18.
- Answers to the organizer's extra questions on the registration form.
- Payments: amount, method, reference numbers and receipt images you upload. Card and e-wallet details are handled by PayMongo; we never see or store your card number.
- Race records: bib number, race kit claim, check-in and results.
- Technical: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and your IP address in security and activity logs.
Why we use it
- To create your account and let you log in.
- To register you for races, confirm payment, issue your bib, and send you emails about your registration (confirmations, reminders, changes, refunds).
- To let the race organizer run the event: kit claiming, check-in, timing, results, medical and emergency response.
- To publish race results and e-certificates (name, bib, category, gender, age group and times).
- To process payments, refunds and organizer payouts, and to keep financial records the law requires.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
We do not sell your data and we do not send you advertising.
Our legal bases are your consent, the contract when you register for a race, our legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
Who we share it with
- The organizer of each race you register for, and the event team they assign (managers and check-in staff), for that race only.
- PayMongo, to process payments and refunds.
- Our hosting and email providers, who process data for us under contract.
- Government authorities when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Your account data: until you delete your account.
- Registration and payment records: for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting (generally up to 10 years). When you delete your account, we remove your name and contact details from these records.
- Published results stay public unless you ask us to remove your name.
Your rights
Under RA 10173 you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to correct, to erasure or blocking, to data portability, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
- Correct your details in My account.
- Download a copy of your data in My account.
- Delete your account in My account.
- For anything else, email our Data Protection Officer at [email protected].
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, encrypted storage of payment keys and payout details, and access limited to people who need it. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the NPC as the law requires.
Children
Runners under 18 are registered by a parent or guardian, who gives consent for them.
